Halloween 2009

We kicked off Halloween with a bang! Britnie and Derek threw their annual party that was filled with yummy food, fun games and great costumes. Here are a few pictures of the spooky group! If you can't tell who Justin is you should watch a great (insert sarcasm) TV show called Dog The Bounty Hunter :) It's worth watching!!

Ryan's is the spookiest costume of all :)

A Day at the Zoo

For Fall Break Justin and I took Friday off and we all went to Hogle Zoo. We could not have picked a better day! The weather was perfect and all the leaves at the zoo were colorful and there are also a ton of baby animals! It was great!! We especially loved Zuri the baby elephant who was so playful and fun to watch. We saw a baby giraffe and baby tigers as well. The giraffe was not playful because it was eating but the tigers acted just like kittens (except they were about 20 times bigger!)

Field Trip at the Fire Station

Macie's preschool class went to the local fire station for their field trip this month. It was very fun and informative. I asked Macie what she learned when we were on our way home and the thing that stuck out the most was "to always wear your seat-belt!" I was thinking she'd say something more like you need to crawl under the smoke or if you can't get out of your bedroom you should stay by a window or any number of things that we haven't talked about at home. I guess I have neglected to emphasize that we should always wear our seat-belts because that's what she got from the whole experience!!

Flag Football!

Cole is participating in his second season of flag football. He likes playing just fine but the real bonuses are that most of his friends are on his team! And you can't forget the treats you get after the games :) At the last game Cole scored a touchdown and I even got it filmed. I have posted it for your viewing enjoyment.....Go Tigers!!!

Fall at Sundance

On Conference Sunday we decided to go for a drive up Provo Canyon. It was a very rainy gray day but we were worried that we would miss out on the leaves if we waited. The drive to Sundance was beautiful and Sundance itself was amazing! I thought it would be harder to see the brilliant colors when the skies were so gray but that was not the case. We collected about a million leaves and took a bunch of pictures. Here are some.......
