Milestones....

Macie has had a busy summer so far! One Saturday a couple weeks ago she was begging us to take off her training wheels because she wanted to ride a two-wheeler. I was reluctant, mostly because I was lazy and it required some work on my part to help her learn, so I put her off until later that afternoon. I took the training wheels off and turned around to set them down in the garage. When I turned back around Macie had ridden all the way down the driveway like she's been on two wheels all her life! So fortunately for her lazy mother she's a natural!!

Another milestone this summer for Macie is that she can now do the monkey bars all by herself. She has been practicing and now can check that off her list. Another thing her lazy mother is grateful for :), plus I'll get kicked a lot less!

The most recent milestone (as of today!) is that she lost her first tooth. It has been looking and feeling ready for the last two days and we have tried a few times to yank it out but without luck. The string I have used has gotten too slimy too fast so by the time I tie it on the tiny tooth it's all slimed and slippery and we haven't been successful. Today Macie had taken a bite of her lunch and was frustrated because her tooth hurt when she bit down. I had just finished offering to try to pull that thing out when out it came all by itself. She had to catch it as it fell out of her mouth!

One Celebration After Another!

Rachel and Clint had a baby girl on June 20th (Father's Day, how perfect!). Norah Grace has long dark hair and is super cute! Macie and Cole adore her already. We did a few fireworks, smoke balls are a favorite at our house!
We went to the parade in Provo, where it was very crowded, hot and sunny--Perfect!
Played at Grandpa and Grandma Rich's house, did a few fireworks there too of course!

The 4th of July was another great celebration! I especially liked Cole's "Karate-Sparkler" routine. It doesn't get more festive than that!
