Cole started playing basketball at the Lehi Legacy Center a couple of weeks ago. He is #12 (if you hadn't guessed!) and he absolutely LOVES it. I thought soccer was a fun sport for younger kids but basketball is even better. It is an absolute riot to watch the kindergartners and 1st graders run up and down the court waving their arms around for reasons they don't know. Coach just says "block!" The rules are pretty loose, for example they encourage players to dribble, but it's not completely necessary. We don't keep score and of course there is a treat at the end!! What could be better?!?! And to top it off, Cole scored two baskets in his first game! I even got one on video. I am not a good multi-tasker so running the camera and watching the game and making sure Macie is still around is a real challenge for me!! And sorry about the quality of the video, it's a tad blurry. I am completely technologically challenged as well :)
